From Bordeaux to Agen by Train

From Bordeaux station (St Jean) there are train services to Agen. Agen station is around 45 minutes from Le Lavandou by taxi or car. The trains from Bordeaux to Agen mostly depart around once an hour, although the period between trains can be longer at certain times of day.

From Bordeaux airport there is a Jet'Bus service every 45 minutes to St Jean station. The bus journey takes 30-40 minutes depending on the traffic. The one way fare in April 2006 was 6 Euros.

Many of trains from Bordeaux St Jean to Agen are TGVs going to Toulouse and take around 1 hour. The slower 'ten' trains take up to 90 minutes. In April 2006 the one-way fare to Agen was around 20 Euros for a TGV train and 18 Euros for others.
