Le Lavandou is named after the abundant lavender bushes around the terrace overlooking the garden

The 11m x 4m pool is heated

The swimming pool is 11m x 4m and heated from June until mid-September using an energy efficient heat pump. The shallow end includes Roman steps. The pool is fully fenced (1.2m high), with access by a security gate.

The grounds of Le Lavandou are one hectare (2.5 acres) and include a large lawn area and an oak wood of around an acre.

Relaxing in the poolThe lawn is good for football and badminton - the net and rackets are kept in the barn.

There are many sunny and sheltered areas for sitting out. Close to the house are a number of walnut and fig trees and also bushes of wild cherry.

Tree HouseThe garden includes a substantial tree house, which includes ladders, fenced sides and a number of platforms - which are also good places for adults to sit and read in the shade of the trees.

The large barn includes table tennis and is also used to store the garden furniture. This includes pool and terrace loungers, a large table and ten chairs for eating outside on the terrace, and a large portable BBQ.

The lawn area to the South of the house has direct views over the countryside and is also a good lazing and reading area in the afternoon. For evening meals, it provides an alternative to the main terrace.
